And it was summertime! The head wraps that chemo patients wear are for a purpose. It’s not just to cover up the fact that you lost your hair. It is to keep one from freezing to death. The nights were the worst. My pillow felt like a chunk of ice. I had to buy us all-cotton head wraps that we could wear at night.
